Did it work?
I believe that this ad would work for the target audience as it features two characters within the target audience who use the product and are better off for it.Although, the characters are better off in surreal ways, I believe that it would still work.
We were trying to send a message to teenagers, using a surreal idea (to appeal to the younger audience) that VO5 would make you better and in some ways it is possible, some people prefer styled hair and find it more attractive and more practical, for example, a Skater would style their hair to keep it out of their face.

We used some camera effects such as "pull focus" that add to the scenes in my opinion.
During the edit we added special effects using a programme called "After Effects" to add a flashback effect in a later shot.
We added Sound later in editing because we wanted the soundtrack to be the main sound in the advert because it played a large pat in setting the right atmosphere that we anted in the ad.
We decided to use exterior exterior shoting, keeping a good level of focus to catch the curves and edged of the ramp and giving it a homemade, youthful feel to our video.

We decided to re-brand VO5 wax toward athletic teenagers of the B to D class demographic, We were going to re-brand it to females as well but had issues with the casting so stayed with the male only target audience.

The original target audience for VO5 wax was young men in the A to D demographic and the psychographic of Yaks (Young, Adventurous, Keen and Single).

I believe that our advert respects all of the BCAP codes and regulations and would be fine to air on television before the watershed, it does not have any adult or offensive content and does not have any stereotyping.

Survey Monkey.

We used a questionnaire creating website called survey monkey and we took the answers from 4 people and asked them for some feedback.

Overall our advert turned out just as well as I had hoped, we did face a few issues and had to alter our idea but after everything I was happy with how it turned out and with the feedback I got for it.

If I could change anything I would have added the shots with Tia dancing as it would help to create a much broader target audience.

I think that I worked well with the others and that I pulled my own weight, I do however wish that I could have done a bit more editing because I only got to edit for one lesson but otherwise I don't think there is anything more that I should have done.
